WATER As a source of origin
The history of IB is rooted in a land of lakes and rivers, where the abundance of water has always been a crucial element for the socio-economical identity of the region.
Val Trompia has been one of the most active industrial centres in Italy since the beginning of the nineteenth century.
However, the tradition is not only the geographical one, but also the familiar one, transmitted from generation to generation.
IB was born in 1985 from the passion and high competence of Elio Bregoli, president of the company.
Built together with his wife Antonella, IB is enriched by their children’s new ideas, enthusiasm and love for the profession. Andrea and Davide have recognized the value of tradition and have opened the business to international markets.
BEING PART OF THE IB WORLD MEANS BEING PART OF A FAMILY.
However, the family is not only the one determined by blood ties, it is also the one we choose, the ones we love and the collaborative relationships that we build throughout a lifetime.
This is why the IB family grows to include all workers and collaborators who, over the years, have engaged, together with the Bregoli family, this journey in an industrial production based on local traditions.
IB products are the outcome of the most advanced technological innovations, with a particular care for details and a technical and aesthetic quality.
The most innovative element is, without any doubt, the raw material processing method. The processed brass alloy is free of lead and zinc, and therefore hypoallergenic and purified by the main pollutants. Another revolutionary element is the desire to internalize the whole production chain:
IB is involved in the manufacturing and the production of every single component, from the raw material to the most particular finishes.
IB HAS BECOME A REFERENCE POINT FOR ARCHITECTS AND DESIGNERS.
The goal is always to develop high-design projects, innovative and daring in their aesthetics, but always attentive to the high functionality of the product.
This is why IB has become an unquestionable and indispensable reference point for architects and designers like Maurizio Duranti, Giulio Iacchetti, Lorenzo Damiani, Remì Theberge, Marco Acerbis, Nadia Monigliardi, Antonio Gardoni, Federico Castelli and many more.
